Design Thinking & Innovation — 3 hours

In the first 2 hours of the workshop, participants will learn the basics of Human Centred Design (HCD) and the steps involved, as well as how HCD can drive innovation. They will also learn about the benefits and challenges they might face. In the last hour, they will take on a challenge to apply the things they have learned.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
  • Learn about UX and understand what Design Thinking is and isn't
  • Know why Design Thinking is important and the proper way to implement it
  • Have a basic understanding of the steps involved
  • Practice using a generic challenge not specific to the organisation

Design Thinking & Innovation — 2 Days

This is an in-depth workshop that can be customized for a company/product specific problem. The workshop will include practical exercises for each step.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
  • Learn how HCD can drive innovation
  • Understand the role of empathy and collaboration in human centred design
  • Know how to draft effective interview questions
  • Have hands-on practice on each step in the process
  • Know how to define a design problem & brainstorm solutions
  • Have built and tested tangible ideas through rapid prototyping
  • Be able to implement what they've learnt in their day to day

Intro to UX Research — 3 hours

This is an introductory workshop that focuses on what user research is, the types of research conducted, methodologies and methods and the basics of conducting user research.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
  • What is user research and how does it fit into a company
  • Types of research (quant & qual, attitudinal & behavioural, generative & evaluative)
  • Common myths of user research
  • Methodologies and Methods
  • Research questions versus interview questions and how to craft them

Conducting UX Research — 1 day

This workshop covers how to choose the right methods, as well as the necessary skills required for conducting research properly, including rapport-building and listening. Participants will also learn how to analyse findings and communicate them.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
  • Overview of methodologies and methods and how to choose which to use
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define research goals
  • Crafting interview questions
  • Honing your listening and rapport building skills
  • Conducting research and what happens after

The Practice of UX Research — 2 days

Participants in this workshop will learn prep work that happens before research is actually conducted including collaborating with stakeholders, creating research plans, and learning to ask the right questions.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
  • Understanding the value of discovery and research
  • Developing a research strategy
  • Involving stakeholders and understanding business goals
  • ResearchOps (planning, design, and participant recruitment)
  • Making sense of research data & outcomes
  • How to choose the right deliverables and properly share insights

AI Literacy for Teams — 3 hours

An introduction to AI concepts, capabilities, and practical applications for non-technical teams. Learn to work effectively with AI tools while understanding their limitations.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
  • Understand what AI is and isn't
  • Know the different types of AI and their applications
  • Learn to evaluate AI tools for your work
  • Understand AI limitations and potential biases
  • Practice prompt engineering basics

Responsible AI Implementation — 1 day

For teams implementing AI solutions, this workshop covers ethical considerations, governance frameworks, and best practices for responsible AI deployment.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
  • Understand AI ethics principles
  • Learn to identify and mitigate AI biases
  • Develop governance frameworks for AI use
  • Create guidelines for responsible AI in your organisation
  • Evaluate AI vendors and tools critically
